The "Esprit de Terroir" range was launched in 1999 as a result of the Chusclan wine producers'
desire to develop the full potential of the diverse "terroirs" within the Côtes du Rhône
Villages Chusclan appellation, improving quality in a bid to rival the best wines produced in
the Rhône Valley.Very stringent specifications, which are strictly controlled at ground level, have been established between the cave and the wine-growers, based on a selection of well-established plots where yields are controlled (with an objective of 35 hl/ha - which implies reducing the yield naturally by thinning out). This, together with ensuring perfectly healthy grapes and harvesting at perfect phenological ripeness, is a guarantee of success. |
