The Cave des Vignerons de Chusclan doesn't operate quite like any other. The evidence can be found in the fact that, since it was formed, not a single winemaker has left to set up on his own.

All the vineyard owners and wine growers in Chusclan, without exception, are members of the cave, in other words, around fifty vineyards covering 1,125 hectares of vines, 950 of which come under the AOC label. In the 65 years since it was founded, the cave has had only 3 chairmen. The particular sense of solidarity among this team of wine-makers can be attributed to the fact that its members have always been central to and in control of the development of its production system.
